Zombie

Zombie is a slang term used to mean “someone you were romantically involved with, often in a situationship, who ghosts you or disappears without explanation but then comes back.” It is commonly used to describe someone who repeatedly reappears after ending communication.

Example: “My zombie texted me again after disappearing for three months.”
Means: “Someone I was involved with romantically came back after ghosting me.”

Example: “I thought I was done with him, but he came back like a zombie.”
Means: “I thought the relationship was over, but he returned unexpectedly.”
