Bed Rot is a slang term used to mean “staying in bed for hours or even the whole day, usually while scrolling on your phone, watching videos, or doing nothing productive.” It is commonly used casually to describe a lazy day spent relaxing in bed.

Example: “I spent all Sunday in bed, just scrolling TikTok and doing some serious bed rot.”
Means: “I stayed in bed all day doing nothing.”

Example: “I was meant to get up early but ended up bed rotting until the afternoon.”
Means: “I stayed in bed much longer than planned and didn’t do anything.”
