A troll is a person who intentionally posts inflammatory, offensive, or off-topic messages in online communities to provoke emotional responses or disrupt conversations.

Example: “Ignore him, he’s just a troll.”
Means: “Don’t pay attention to him because he’s deliberately trying to annoy people.”

Example: “There are always people trolling in the comments.”
Means: “People intentionally provoking others appear frequently in the comment sections.”
